About the 11067NAT Course in Swimming Pool Safety Inspections

The 11067NAT is the same core qualification as the 10660NAT — it qualifies you to become a licensed Pool Safety Inspector in Queensland — with an updated course structure and unit code.

What it qualifies you to do

Conduct pool safety inspections of regulated swimming pools in Queensland. Issue Pool Safety Certificates and nonconformity notices. Apply for a QBCC Pool Safety Inspectors Licence. Conduct inspections as a licensed sole trader or as part of a business.

How APSIC delivers it

Live online classroom via Zoom over 2.5 full days with Jacqui Murphy teaching in real time. No travel required. Your written assessment is completed during the course — only the practical video (approx. 15 min) remains after. You have 6 months to submit it.

Prerequisites

None. The 11067NAT is open to anyone. No prior qualifications, no industry experience required. Year 10 literacy and numeracy is the only practical requirement, as you need to read and interpret Queensland pool safety legislation during the course.

What you receive on completion

A Statement of Attainment for the 11067NAT Course in Swimming Pool Safety Inspections, issued by RTO 40963. This is the document required to apply for your QBCC Pool Safety Inspectors Licence. Jacqui guides you through the licence application process.

Course fee

Applicable in NSW

Yes. After completing the QLD course and obtaining your QBCC licence in Queensland, you can apply for mutual recognition as an Registered Swimming Pool Inspector in NSW (previously E1 Certifier) with the NSW Office of Fair Trading.
